International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere. It is also a powerful reminder of the importance of community and the impact we can make when we come together to uplift one another.
This year, we are proud to highlight our Women Supporting Women Initiative, a program rooted in empowerment, safety, and meaningful action.
Why This Matters to Us
As a women-led bridal boutique, we believe deeply that women should be supporting and empowering other women, not just in words, but through tangible action. Over the years, it has become incredibly important to us to use our platform to give back in ways that truly matter.
Through this initiative, we proudly support the Lanark County Interval House, an organization that provides emergency shelter and ongoing community programs for women and children living in or escaping domestic violence.
Founded in 1979 by a courageous group of feminists who recognized the urgent need for a safe haven in Lanark County, LCIH continues to be a lifeline for so many in our community.
How We Get Involved
Throughout the year, we run various campaigns at the boutique to raise funds and awareness for LCIH. One of the most meaningful parts of this initiative is inviting our brides to participate. Weddings are moments of joy, love, and new beginnings and we love creating opportunities to extend that joy outward by supporting women who are rebuilding their lives.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide safety, resources, and hope.
